The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ad-hoc Release pursuant to Article 15 Securities Act (WpHG) SURTECO SE: Change in the Board of Management The Supervisory Board of SURTECO SE made arrangements for the succession in the Board of Management of SURTECO SE at its meeting on 18 December 2014. It passed a resolution to appoint the incumbent Member of the Board of Management Dr.-Ing. Herbert Müller as the new Chairman of the Board of Management with effect from 1 July 2015. The period of office of the incumbent Chairman of the Board of Management, Mr. Friedhelm Päfgen, ends on 30 June 2015. The Supervisory Board has furthermore nominated Dr. Gereon Schäfer, currently Chairman of the Executive Management of BauschLinnemann GmbH and SURTECO DECOR GmbH, as the second Member of the Board of Management with effect from 1 April 2015.
